DEGNZ Screenlink in partnership with WIFT and Nga Aho Whakaari saw approximately 50 people come together to hear Lanita Ririnui Ryan and Guy Pigden speak about their experiences in their respective lo-budget arenas of interactive and feature film–stimulating conversation.

A great night was had by all!

The Directors & Editors Guild of NZ, Nga Aho Whakaari and Women in Film & Television invite you to hear from two very active filmmakers in the lo-budget content realm at Screenlink. Make sure you keep the night of Wednesday 21 June free and come join us at the Longroom in Ponsonby from 6 – 8pm.

Members of DEGNZ, SPADA and the Screen Composers Guild of NZ are warmly invited to our next Screenlink networking event on May 10!

Joining us is Department of Post’s Katie Hinsen who’ll be giving a short talk on how we need to be able to deliver to the world if we’re to stay sustainable as an industry and to keep telling our stories to the world.

We hope to see you there!

Screenlink Invite

Our Screenlink networking event was a great evening spent with our friends at New Zealand Writers Guild and Ngā Aho Whakaari. The highlight was hearing from Kathryn Burnett and Fiona Samuel on the night’s topic: Writing as a Career in the Screen Industry. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Save the date! For our first Screenlink networking event of the year, we’re joining Nga Aho Whakaari and NZ Writers Guild in Auckland.

DEGNZ members are warmly invited to attend and we look forward to seeing you on the night.
