COVID-19 Membership Holiday – Request Form
DEGNZ represents the creative, cultural and financial wellbeing of all New Zealand directors, editors and assistant editors. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, we are extending our membership to all New Zealand directors, editors and assistant editors, whether or not they can afford to pay membership fees. It is more important than ever that we come together for support, assistance, advice and information at this crucial time and as we navigate the future. Together we can do this.
We understand that many of our members have lost some or all of their work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are facing financial hardship, we want to support you with a free Associate membership until 1 October 2020. For those who can afford it, we ask that you please support DEGNZ by continuing to pay your membership fees.
This offer is based on an honesty system.
We are accepting Membership Holiday requests between now and 1 October. If you receive a Membership Holiday, your membership will be due for paid renewal on 1 October 2020.
Who can use this request form?
Current Members on any membership level.
- I pay annually – You can submit a request as your renewal date approaches and when you start to receive renewal notices by email.
- I pay monthly – You can submit a request between now and 1 October 2020. Receiving a Membership Holiday will stop your monthly payments altogether. When your membership holiday ends on 1 October 2020, you will be able to select which membership level you want to renew on. You won’t be expected to pay the remainder of your last 1-Year Membership, Paid Monthly.
OR Lapsed Members who lapsed this year or in 2019.
Who cannot use this request form?
New Members and Lapsed Members who lapsed prior to 2019 – you need to sign up for a Membership Holiday using the Member Sign-Up Form.
